Overview
You can easily share files between your Mac and Microsoft Remote Desktop by redirecting folders in your RDP settings. Once enabled, the chosen Mac folders are accessible inside your remote session, making it simple to copy or move files as needed.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: RDP Set Up
Select the RDP app icon and then click the cog icon in the top right corner to bring up the connection properties.
From the Connection Properties window, be sure to verify the following items are checked:
Printers
Clipboard
Smart Cards
Cameras
Folders
Next, select Local Resources from the top menu items.
Click the + icon to bring up the folder directory.
Select the preferred folder you wish to sync with the RDP desktop and click Open.
The selected folder will now appear in the directory pop-up. Click OK to continue. This will return you to the Connection Properties window.
Start your RDP app and open up the RDP desktop’s File Explorer. You should now have access to the desired folder. This folder will continue to sync with the same folder on your Mac OS.
