Overview
PIMSY makes it easy to schedule and manage client appointments. Users can create appointments directly from the calendar, entering details such as time, duration, and client information. With convenient tools such as recurring appointments and group scheduling, taking payments, and generating notes, PIMSY streamlines appointment management, keeping your practice organized and efficient.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Navigating to the Calendar
From the top navigation menu, go to:
Utilities > SAL > My SAL Calendar
Step 2: Viewing the Calendar
When viewing the calendar, you’ll see the month view on the left side, allowing you to easily select a specific day to view. Just above is the calendar, quick buttons allow for various tools and filters to enhance your viewing experience
- Save - Saves all edits made to calendar
- New Note - Create a new note
- New Group Note - Create a new group note
- My SAL - View the list view of the calendar
- Refresh - Sync all changes made from other users to the calendar
The Filter option, located at the top of the calendar, include:
- Filter By User - Filter appointments by a specific provider
- Filter by User Group - Filter by specific user groups

Filter by Client - Filter appointments for a specific client
- Check the Show Client Name box to show the client's name on appointments
- Day Scale in Minutes - View the calendar in various increments
- Time Scale - Restrict the calendar to show a specific time range
Next, you can further adjust the calendar view by selecting either Day View, Week View, Month View, or Timeline View.
The User Columns checkbox allows you to view appointments by User Group. To use it, select the Filter by User Group dropdown at the top and choose the desired group. Then, check User Columns to display appointments for that group.
Use the Filter to narrow down the calendar to specific criteria.
Click Calendar Report to view and print reports.
Zoom in or out of the calendar view using the Appointment Zoom tool to adjust the display of appointments.
Step 3: Creating a New Appointment
From the Calendar, highlight the time range you wish to create the appointment for and right-click it. Select New SAL.
From the Edit SAL window, verify the Start Time and End Time.
Next, select a Client Name, Billing Code, Division, Location (if applicable), and Room (if applicable).
Optionally, you can assign a User Group or Client Group. If selecting a Client Group, there is no need to select a Client Name.
Appointments will automatically default to a Status of Scheduled.
The appointment can also be created as a Telehealth appointment by checking the Telehealth Appointment checkbox.
Once the appointment has been saved, informational icons will appear at the bottom. Hover over them to view relevant information.
When finished, click Save. This will generate the SAL # for the appointment.

- Note - Create a new note from the appointment
- Group Note - Create a new group note from the appointment
- Copy Note - Copy a note from a list of notes
- Client - View the client's chart
- Additional Details - View or add additional forms
- Take Payments - Take payments directly from the appointment
- Statement - View the client's balances
- Eligibility - View client insurance eligibility
- Messaging - View or modify ad hoc messaging. Must have client consent.
- Email - Send emails from the appointment screen
- Recurrence - Schedule appointment recurrences
- Reports - View and print reports
- Docs - View the client's documents
