Overview
The User Management area allows the administrator to define which days/times the user prefers to work. Schedule Preferences are set for any preferences a user has with scheduling appointments.

- Please assign the Create, Modify, View, and Delete permissions for the following rule(s):
- User Scheduling Preferences
- System setting -295 must be set to True in Your Value
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Navigating to User Schedule Preferences
From the top navigation menu, go to:
Administration > User Management > User Schedule Preferences
Step 2: Creating a Schedule Preference
Begin by checking either the Users or User Group checkbox. Select a User/User Group and then click Apply Filter.
Select a time range within the day column you wish to edit and right click to bring up the Set User Preferences options:
Manually select a color to apply to the schedule preferences block or create a default color so it can be automatically applied every time a new block is created. To save your selection and create the block, click Create/Save Selection, which will also be highlighted in either the default color selection or the manually selected color. A popup will appear where you can enter a remark for the preference block - making it easy to name your blocks.
Once the new block has been created, you have the option to copy the selection and apply it to multiple days. Simply select your block, right click to bring up the menu, select either Copy Selection, Copy Day, or Copy Week, and then select Repeat. There are various repeat options, but for the purpose of this article we will select Week: Customize. A popup will appear where you can select an end date on the calendar and the option to select a repeat option i.e...repeating every day, every week, every other week. If you do not want weekends included, check the Exclude Weekends box and then click Ok.
Step 3: User Tag Preferences
To utilize user tag preferences, right click the relevant schedule preferences block and select Set User Tag Preferences. A popup for tag selection will appear. Click Edit, select all relevant tags, and then Save. The selected tags will now be applied to the schedule preference block.
Additional Items
The calendar view can be changed by clicking the View tab just below the top navigation menu and selecting either Day View, Work Week View, Full Week View, and Month View.
