Overview
PIMSY makes it easy to capture and store client photos directly in their profile, helping staff quickly confirm identity and maintain accurate records. If your computer has a built-in webcam, PIMSY will automatically detect and use it to take photos. For setups using an external webcam, the system can recognize and utilize that device as well.

- Please ensure you have the appropriate profile for managing client charts
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Navigating to the Client Chart
From the top navigation menu, go to:
Clients > Client Management
Select a client from the list to view their chart.
Step 2: How to Take a Picture
The Take Picture feature is located at the bottom of the right-side menu in the client chart.
To capture a photo, right-click the Take Picture icon and select Take Picture from the menu that appears.
The Take Picture popup will open, displaying the live feed from your webcam or camera. Click Capture to take the photo.
In the event the photo does not take the first time, click on Try Again.
Once you click Save, the photo will appear in the photo box.
Step 3: Uploading an Image from your Computer
Right-click the Take Picture icon or the client image, then select Load From Hard Drive. From there, you can browse your computer for a saved image and upload it directly into PIMSY.
After loading the image, PIMSY will ask if you would like to create an avatar from the image. Click Yes to proceed.
Select the area of the image you’d like to keep in focus, then click Save Avatar to save it. If you’d like to make changes, click Clear to try again.
PIMSY will ask if you wish the save the cropped image as the new client avatar. Click Yes to proceed.
Additionally, you can crop the image by right-clicking it again and selecting Crop Avatar.
