Overview
The Client Statement is a report that summarizes the current status of a patient’s account, including all paid and unpaid fees. Statements can be printed individually when receiving a payment or in bulk for mailing to clients. Each line on the statement represents one or more transactions linked to a specific session or billable event (for example, a single line might include a copay, an insurance payment, and a self-pay from the client).

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Navigating to Statements
From the top navigation menu, go to:
Financial > Statements
Step 2: How to View Statements
When you access the Statements screen, the filter pop-up appears automatically. To view all clients’ statements, simply click OK; otherwise, adjust the filters to narrow the list by date, client, or other criteria.
By default the system is set to only show clients with balances, and sessions that are not at a zero dollar balance. To view all clients, including those with zero balances, uncheck the Only Show Clients with Non-Zero Balance box at the top of the screen then click the refresh button.
Once the invoice lines appear, click Print Statement.
A window will open displaying all statements, allowing you to export them as a PDF and print. To print a single client’s statement, filter for that specific client and the desired date range before selecting to print.
After exiting the Print Statement window, a prompt will appear asking if you are providing the statement to the client. Clicking Yes will record the current date in the Date Given To Client column, as well as the client's chart.
Step 3: Additional Information
The date the statement was given to the client can be found on the client's insurance tab. When necessary, you can pull up all dates a statement was given to the client if you click on the Billing Details button, and then filtering for any Q&As within that window.
