Overview
This article explains how to inactivate a client in PIMSY, helping you manage active and inactive client records effectively.
Required Permissions and Prerequisites

- Please assign the Create, Modify, View, and Delete permissions for the following rule(s):
- Client
- Client Activate
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Navigating to a Client Chart
From the top navigation menu, go to:
Clients > Client Management
From the Client Management screen, select the appropriate client to access their client chart.
Step 2: Inactivating a Client
To inactivate a client in PIMSY, go to the client’s chart and scroll down to the Administration section of the Details tab. Uncheck the Active checkbox to mark the client as inactive.
Once inactivated, the client’s name will display in orange to clearly indicate their status.
To view all inactive clients, simply click the Filter button and select No from the Active dropdown.
Step 3: Status Log
Open the client status log tab to document the reason for inactivating.
Step 4: Reactivating Clients
If you need to reactivate a client, simply filter for the client name. Check the Active box to move the client back to an active status.
