PIMSY provides an easy method for creating and maintaining service plans, treatment plans, and PCPs.
Wiley Practice Data – PIMSY provides pre-filled templates from the Wiley Practice Data database. Available per PIMSY plan.
Copy Need – review or update the need.
Details – opens the Service Plan Need Q&A window, an additional Q&A area that is set up by the PIMSY administrator in the Q&A Pick List, if applicable.
Treatment Plan Footer – allows for additional information, such as different sign-off options, depending on the type of Treatment Plan you are generating. There are three Footer options to choose from for the different types of plans you may have. The footer will print on the bottom of a report generated from the Treatment Plan(s).
Treatment Plan Report – prints the treatment plan.
Leaf Icon – In PIMSY, there are green leaf and red-brown leaf icons. Green leaf and green tree icons are related to money items, invoices etc.
Brown leaf icons are always report related, usually printable reports. If the button has a brown leaf and text it will pull up a printable report for whatever subject you are on in the system. If the button has a brown leaf only, then you will have options as to which report you want to generate. There may be multiple standard options here or there could be multiple custom reports just for the specific client as well.
Presenting Problem – the symptom being addressed by the goal(s).
Presenting Problem Type – select the type from a drop-down box with the types the PIMSY administrator has setup in your PIMSY system.
Presenting Problem # - optional.
Service Date – the date this need was established and/or reviewed.
Division – if applicable.
Last Edited Date - last date the Presenting Problem was edited.
Last Edited By – last person who edited the selected need.
Active – when checked, this problem is currently active.
Display Order – optional.
Last Edited Date - last date the selected need was last edited.
New Goal – create a new goal for the selected need.
Modify Goal – modify the selected goal.
Goal # - a required field (ex. 1, 2, 3)
Goal – the main text for the selected goal.
Objective – the objective of the current goal.
Support/Intervention – what will be done to help the client meet the goal.
Who Will Provide Support – who will be involved in reaching the goal.
Support Frequency – the frequency that this goal will be worked on (how often will service be provided for this goal).
Active – when checked, this goal is active.
Last Edited Date – the date this Goal was edited.
Last Edited By – the person who last edited this Goal.
Export –export the Treatment Plan to an Excel file.
Start Date – the date this goal is expected to be met (and the date this goal will expire).
Review Date – the date this goal is set to be reviewed.
Complete Date – the date this goal was met.
Status – current status of this Goal.
Justification – reasons behind this Goal.
Active – when checked, the target date, review date, and completed date are active.
Last Edited Date – the last date the dates were edited.
Last Edited By – the staff person who last edited the dates.
New (or Modify) Goal Buttons:
Answers - a dropdown list of pre-built forms you can insert into boxes in the Goal window.
New (or Modify) Goal Boxes:
Goal # - for this problem, is this goal 1, 2, or 3? An unlimited number of goals may be created for each given problem.
Goal – enter a goal to meet the selected problem
Active – when checked, this goal is active
Objective – the objective of the current goal
Support/Intervention – what will be done to help the client meet the goal
Who Will Provide Support – the clinician providing the support
Support Frequency – the frequency of the support action(s)
New Goal Tabs:
Dates – the applicable Target, Review, and completed dates for the goal
Additional Support, Who, Frequency – available if more than one set of supports has been identified for a goal

Go to the Clients charts (button or menu) and select the desired client from the list on the left. Click on the Treatment Plan tab at the top of the page.
Enter the problem of the client.
Select the problem that correlates to the goals being created.
Click the New or Modify Goal button and a new window pops up.
Number your goal in the box at the top.
You can right-click over the Goal section to see a menu where you will find an option for Templates. You can select goals from the templates. These are set up and managed by your PIMSY Administrator.
There is an Answers button that also lists pre-configured Goal Templates
Select the goal Status and Justification in the bottom section, if applicable.
Select the Additional Support, Who, Frequency tab in the bottom section. (you can also right click in the boxes under the bottom section tabs to access templates)

Fill out as many rows here at the bottom that you need for this goal.Select the next tab over and fill out what is needed.
Save at the top.
If you have more goals to add to this problem click the New Goal button and repeat the steps above.
Sue Harris is a new client at the ABC Therapeutic Group and has just had her initial Assessment with her therapist, Ben. Once support staff has finished setting up the chart, Ben can create a diagnosis, treatment plan, and note for the session. (Remember: notes must be released before the service can be billed)
